This is a portrait I did of my great friend, the world-class Egyptian pianist Wael Farouk (look him up). We were supposed to create a portrait of someone to whom we look up for our Color Theory class here at Full Sail University. I chose him because not only is he a warm, wonderful, talented, and hilarious person, but also because he has overcome incredible obstacle in his life to achieve great things. Though the grayscale was done first, we were also required to include other examples of color relationships. Here you see monochromatic, analogous, complementary, split complementary, triadic, and double complementary.
